1. What We Collect

When you use Oddsmyth, we collect the following information:

  • Yahoo profile data: email address, display name, and Yahoo user ID (provided via OAuth authentication).
  • Fantasy league data: your leagues, roster, standings, scoring settings, matchup data, and free agent listings. This data is accessed read-only through the Yahoo Fantasy API.
  • Chat messages: the questions you ask and the AI responses generated for you.
  • Credit transactions: records of credit purchases and usage.
  • Feedback: thumbs up/down ratings you provide on AI responses.
  • Usage data: page views, feature usage, and interactions collected via Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • AI analysis: your league and roster data is provided to AI models as context so they can generate personalized recommendations.
  • Account management: your Yahoo profile is used to create and authenticate your account.
  • Service improvement: chat messages, feedback, and usage patterns help us improve AI response quality and the overall product experience.
  • Transaction processing: credit purchase and usage records are maintained for billing and account management.

3. Third-Party Services

Oddsmyth relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Anthropic (Claude): processes your chat messages and league context to generate AI responses. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe: handles payment processing for credit purchases. Oddsmyth does not store your payment card information. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase: provides the PostgreSQL database where user accounts, chat history, and credit balances are stored.
  • Upstash Redis: provides caching for API responses and temporary data to improve performance.
  • Vercel: hosts the application and serves web traffic.
  • Google Analytics (GA4): collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the product is used.

4. Data Retention

Chat history and account data are stored indefinitely to provide you with access to past analyses and to maintain your credit balance.

Yahoo Fantasy data is cached temporarily (minutes to hours depending on the data type) and refreshed regularly from Yahoo's API. We do not permanently store raw Yahoo API data beyond caching purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at admin@oddsmyth.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. No Selling of Data

Oddsmyth does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the product.

6. Cookies

Oddsmyth uses the following cookies:

  • Session cookie: an encrypted JWT cookie used to maintain your authenticated session after signing in with Yahoo. This cookie is essential for the service to function.
  • Google Analytics cookies: GA4 sets cookies to collect anonymized usage data (page views, feature interactions). You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Children's Privacy

Oddsmyth is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@oddsmyth.ai and we will promptly delete the information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Oddsmyth after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
